The firm is also a member of the CharterGroup Partnership which is a national network of accountants serving predominantly the small to medium sized business sector and the private client market. There are approximately 210 member firms distributed around the country and the group is one of the leading providers of accountancy and related services. Before we joined the network, we had to undergo a 'quality review' and this is repeated annually to ensure that we continue to meet the strict performance criteria which includes effective client communication and focusing on clients' needs. The key strength of CharterGroup is the vast array of specialist technical expertise and sector knowledge within the network and we are thus able to provide the specialist understanding of individual markets which can add real value to your business.

Apart from Newsletters which we circulate to clients in order to keep them up to date with changes in the legislation, we also distribute our own Budget report which is produced in house on the night of the Chancellor's speech.

Partners: The Senior Partner, John Pressdee, qualified in 1970 and then joined one of the top international firms in London before eventually moving to Chichester in 1982. He is very involved with the local business community and particularly start-up situations where a guiding hand is required.

Oliver Smyth qualified in 1990 and is the firm's audit partner. He is also in charge of training to ensure that all staff are technically up to date and have the necessary skills to meet our clients' ever-demanding needs.

The practice has sixteen staff and each client is allocated to a manager which therefore means that if the principal is not available, there is always somebody who can help and who is familiar with a clients' affairs.
